Laura Summer is a voice actress and television performer best known for her work in animated series during the 1980s and 90s. She got her start in live-action TV with a couple of guest spots on The Facts of Life in 1983, playing Eastland School student Emily in the two-part episode "Graduation" and returning later that season for "Help from Home."
Her TV appearances expanded to include Night Court, She's Out of Control, and Grace Under Fire, along with a small role in the 2001 film Shallow Hal.
On the voice acting side, Summer is probably most recognized for voicing Janine Melnitz across 90 episodes of the Real Ghostbusters animated series, where she provided the original voice for the character. She also voiced Patamon in the first series of Digimon, making her a fixture in 90s kids' animation.
