Maxime got into music young—starting viola and solfeggio at age 4 through the Association Vivaldi, where he stayed until 2000. He sang with the children's choir Chœur d'enfants Sotto Voce from 1999 to 2006, and taught himself piano in 2004.
Dubbing and acting came through music. At 10, he landed the role of Oliver Twist in the musical "Oliver!" at the Opéra Bastille—basically learning on the job. From there, he picked up voice work on classic Disney films, starting with songs before moving into full character dialogue.
