John Novak is a Vancouver-based actor known for his prolific voice work with the Ocean Group, particularly in anime dubs. He's probably best known to Canadian audiences as the perpetually frustrated Park Ranger in the classic Kokanee beer commercials, constantly trying to stop the Kokanee Sasquatch from making off with the beer.
On the live-action side, he took over the role of the Djinn in the later Wishmaster films—Wishmaster 3: Beyond The Gates Of Hell and Wishmaster: The Prophecy Fulfilled—stepping into Andrew Divoff's shoes. He also made a couple appearances in the 90s TV series Sliders, playing shyster lawyer Ross J. Kelly both times. More recently, he showed up as the Sheriff in Bloodrayne 2: Deliverance.
