Synopsis

Tooru Honda's an orphan living in a tent until the Souma family lets her stay with them. Sounds great, right? Well, there's a catch—the Soumas have a seriously weird secret. Any time someone of the opposite gender hugs them, they transform into animals from the Chinese zodiac. So now Tooru's stuck keeping this bizarre curse under wraps, especially around her classmates and her friends Arisa and Saki. As she gets pulled deeper into the Souma family's world, she meets more relatives and ends up forming real bonds with them. Thing is, this curse has messed a lot of them up pretty badly over the years. But despite everything, Tooru might actually be the one person who can help them heal.
