Born in 1955 in Siegen, Germany, this voice actor got his start in the late seventies, beginning formal actor training under Else Bongers in 1977 and finishing up around 1980. Before becoming known for anime work, he appeared in a couple of German TV and film projects—playing Kronauer in the 1996 series "Bei uns daheim" and voicing Sam in the 1988 film "In der Arche ist der Wurm drin."
