Reiko Mutou was a voice actress best known for dubbing Elizabeth Taylor's voice into Japanese for TV and film. She voiced some pretty iconic anime characters too—Melmo in Marvelous Melmo, Uran (Astro Girl) in Astro Boy, and Non Non in Moomin.
She got into performing as a kid after joining the child acting troupe Gekidan Komadori, and that's really where she discovered she loved acting. She died of acute heart failure in Setagaya, Tokyo.
