She's known as the Queen of Akihabara—basically the embodiment of Akihabara culture itself. She's a jack-of-all-trades who's worked as a voice actress, lyricist, composer, pianist, singer, radio personality, and columnist.
In 2002, she and Masaya Koike started the duo UNDER17, making music for adult games and anime. They released several albums together before calling it quits in 2004 over creative differences. After the split, she pursued a solo career and signed with avex mode in 2006 as a composer and singer.
