Steve Kirk built his career primarily as a voice actor in anime, becoming best known for his work on shows like Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, and .hack//. He also voiced characters in various video games throughout his career.
Before landing those iconic roles, Kirk started out doing sound coordination on the 1988 cult film Killer Klowns from Outer Space. He transitioned into on-screen acting with a role in the Nickelodeon show Salute Your Shorts and later appeared in 3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain. Fans might also catch him in guest spots on '90s TV shows including Felicity, Sisters, and NYPD Blue. Beyond acting and voice work, he also did ADR looping for film and television.
