Maurizio Torresan—better known professionally as Paolo Torrisi—is best remembered as the Italian voice of adult Goku across the entire Dragon Ball franchise, from the original series through Dragon Ball GT. He brought the character to life for Italian audiences during what became some of the most iconic anime dubbing work of that era.
He passed away on December 7th, 2005, at age 54. The cause was a heart attack brought on by complications from cholangiocarcinoma.
