Fuchizaki got into voice acting unusually early—at just 10 years old, she was already dubbing films into Japanese for Group Midori. Her anime debut didn't come until 1984, when she voiced Kishin Shinokawa in Persia, the Magic Fairy while still in her first year of high school. From there, she's maintained one of the longer careers in her generation of seiyū.
She's the middle of three children. In 2005, she got married and later had twin sons.
Note: Her name has also been credited with an alternate kanji spelling (淵崎 ゆり子) that reads the same way.
