Aoi Shouta started his career as a singer and voice actor in February 2011. He's known for having a distinctly feminine voice—something he used to be self-conscious about, but he's come to embrace it since audiences respond well to that unique quality. He records under the name Yanagawa Noboru with the Yamaha music foundation.
Beyond voice work, he's part of Rejet's seiyuu singing unit Unicorn Jr., alongside Sawashiro Chiharu and Toshiyuki Someya. He's also involved in stage work; he played Shiomi Sakuya in the Persona 3: The Weird Masquerade stage play.
