George Edmond Manley was born September 17, 1965 in Sacramento, California. He's an American voice actor, adaptation writer, novelist, and screenwriter who studied theatre arts at San Jose State University, journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno, and earned an associate degree in Computer Information Systems from Morrison University. He trained in voiceover work at San Francisco's Voice One Studio and with Nancy Wolfson at Braintracks Audio.
His voice acting credits span several ADV Films anime productions. He voiced Francesco in Noir volume two, the giant robot Impact in Legend of the Mystical Ninja, Hyugi Zeravire in Super Heavyweight God Gravion Zwei, and Barba in Hakugei: Legend of The Moby Dick. He also narrated the English version of Kagaku Ninjatai Gatchaman.
On the writing side, Manley handled adaptation scripts for the final six episodes of Gantz and served as series writer for multiple anime including the newest Macross adaptation, 009-1, Coyote Ragtime Show, Pumpkin Scissors, and Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid.
A turning point came at FanimeCon in 2002, when voice actress Amanda Winn-Lee, voice actress Tiffany Grant, and ADV Films president Matt Greenfield encouraged him to pursue voice acting seriously.
Beyond anime, Manley works as an on-air personality for Houston's Turning Sight Into Sound Radio (formerly Taping For The Blind Radio), where he reads the Houston Chronicle and Sports Illustrated weekly.
