A veteran Mexican dubbing announcer, actor, and director who started in the industry back in 1978. He trained at the Andrés Soler Institute of ANDA and the Center for Dramatic Art (CADAC), studying under dubbing legends Víctor Mares and Narciso Busquets.
He's probably best remembered for his work in the 1990s dubbing Saúl Lisazo in those iconic Bacardi commercials—the ones with the famous tagline about quality being Bacardi's responsibility and quantity being yours. Beyond the ads, he lent his voice to actors like René Ruiz ("Tun Tun"), Gerardo Zepeda ("El Chiquilín"), and Roberto Ballesteros in Mexican "sexycomedias," bringing plenty of wit and mischief to those films.
He passed away on June 11, 2023 from throat cancer.
