Rebecca Lynn Olkowski is an American voice actress from Denver, Colorado.
She started out in theater at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California, then moved into live performance at Knott's Berry Farm's Bird Cage Theater, where she spent time doing melodramas—often cast as the damsel in distress. After that came work in Los Angeles: she was a wardrobe mistress on TV shows like The White Shadow and Hill Street Blues, plus the film S.O.B., and did theater work around the city. She earned some notice for playing Josette in the world premiere of Eugène Ionesco's Tales for People Under 3 Years of Age at the Stages Theatre Center in 1982.
Her on-screen acting work included small roles in low-budget films like Mugsy's Girls (with Ruth Gordon and Laura Branigan) and Round Numbers (with Kate Mulgrew, Samantha Eggar, and Shani Wallis), as well as appearances on TV in Hill Street Blues, St. Elsewhere, and L.A. Law. But she's best known for voice acting. Her big break came when she landed Lynn Minmei in the English dub of Robotech, the hugely popular 1980s anime series. From there, her voice work exploded—she's done hundreds of anime characters, cartoons, live-action shows like Masked Rider and Power Rangers: Time Force, commercials, radio, and background voices for films including Antz, Dr. Dolittle, and The Santa Clause.
