Fuchigami Mai is a Japanese voice actress from Fukuoka Prefecture, currently affiliated with INCS toenter.
She got into voice acting in high school after a friend showed her a Nana Mizuki DVD—a recommendation that stuck with her even though she'd originally considered becoming an actress or lawyer. After graduating from Yoyogi Animation University in 2007, she landed her first gig that same year through a Sigma Seven audition.
Her debut role was Kaname Asagiri in the visual novel Ōkami Kakushi, which she also voiced in the anime adaptation. She switched agencies to INCS toenter in 2011.
The big breakthrough came with Miho Nishizumi in Girls und Panzer, which made her name recognizable in anime circles. Around the same time, she picked up Alice Yotsuba in Dokidoki! PreCure, further cementing her presence in the industry.
She announced her marriage on May 28, 2024.
