Mario Castañeda is a Mexican voice actor and dubbing director born June 29, 1962 in Irapuato, Guanajuato. His family moved to Mexico City when he was young, and he's been based there ever since.
He trained in drama at the Andrés Soler Institute from 1979 to 1982, then jumped into voice work in 1983. He's lent his voice to all kinds of projects—early TV dubs like Diff'rent Strokes, The Powers of Matthew Star, and Visitors, plus Japanese anime, and a ton of Hollywood films. He's best known for being the go-to dubbing voice for actors like Jim Carrey, Jackie Chan, and Bruce Willis in Mexican Spanish releases.
