He's become known as a go-to voice for elegant, serious characters and villains—a specialty that earned him the nickname "The heartthrob with the perfumed voice," though he's versatile enough to handle other roles as well. His distinctive talent eventually led him into hosting gigs, where he conducted interviews and produced programs for Red Edusat on Channel 22 during the late 1990s and early 2000s.
By the 2000s and 2010s, he'd become one of the most sought-after voices on Mexico's public airways. He voiced a major 1996 Telmex commercial announcing LADA service, and continued landing high-profile spots—including ads for the El Globo bakery chain in 2013 and multiple radio and television campaigns for the federal government under President Enrique Peña Nieto's administration. In 2014 alone, he lent his voice to several Ministry of the Interior spots, including the "Together against crime" campaign.
